City & Guilds Dog Grooming Qualifications

For those who wish to achieve a nationally recognised City & Guilds Dog Grooming Qualification, assessment is available at our salon once you have completed our 8 day course and you will be assessed for the following:

Level 2 Certificate For Dog Grooming Assistants (7763-02)

This qualification includes the following modules:

• Prepare and groom dogs prior to bathing
• Bath and clean dogs
• Clean and maintain equipment used for grooming or removing hair from animals
• Control and restrain Animals
• Dry dogs and prepare their coats for styling
• Basic trimming of a dogs coat
• Maintain the cleanliness and bio security of the animal environment.
